Ballet Intensive (Ages 10–13)
Focus on building strong foundational technique and proper alignment, making it one of the best children's events for young dancers. Introduction to more structured barre and center work enhances their skills. Development of flexibility, strength, and coordination is key during these dance classes, where musicality and timing are explored through basic combinations. Students will learn beginning turns, jumps, and across-the-floor progressions, all while emphasizing discipline, classroom etiquette, and confidence. This program also introduces artistry and expressive movement, making it an essential part of holiday dance activities.
Ballet Intensive (Ages 14-18)
This program offers increased complexity in barre, center, and across-the-floor work, focusing on strength, stamina, and injury prevention. Dancers will master pirouettes, jumps, and advanced combinations with precision, while also developing artistry, performance quality, and musical interpretation. Students gain exposure to variations and classical repertoire, preparing them for auditions, performances, and pre-professional training that can enrich their dance classes.
